Usually it's a time to visit as well as packing in the great bargains, but I didn't know a single soul in the packed store that day, except for the long term clerks and baggers. I even noticed that the Fair had been taken over by the 'perfect people' the day I was there- their perfectly trimmed tiny, suntanned bodies, their perfect hair, their bratty kids who are in the perfect designer clothing, were walking around in total awe of the farm animals. I think all of us locals are being forced to stay at home since the taxes and cost of living are sky rocketing! Why haven't they implemented an implant tax/new construction tax to pay for the overcrowding of the schools?? Pass along where the locals are hanging out because I would enjoy hanging out with the hicks, rednecks, and country bumpkins again and knowing someone when I do go somewhere!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9468715.post-1127241222329135122005-09-20T11:33:00.000-07:002005-09-20T11:33:00.000-07:00Right On Marianne!!! But I must mention one thing, where were all these locals when the plans for the developments were being reviewed??? (Dover Bay) Why don't they make their presence known and how they feel during the public hearing process? I did what I could from here.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
