Spectacular Saturday

No complaints out of me this morning. Not a cloud in the sky. Looks like a good day for the big journey to Plummer.

The bike will go along with us, and I'm hoping to find a little time to pedal a little ways down the Trail of the Coeur d'Alene's. Bill tells me it goes downhill from its Plummer beginnings. So, I've got to decide how far I want to pedal uphill on my return.

Took a spin out to the Dover Bay development on Thursday (about 12 miles round trip). I decided to give the uphill climb at Dover Bluff a try and just about succeeded pumping those pedals to the top. Then, I rounded the corner and discovered more climbing. That doused my enthusiasm and energy. I got off and walked the rest of the way, which treated me to some tremendous views.

Am looking forward to enjoying the countryside down Plummer way today----as well as all the birthday festivities. Bill, Mother and I will leave about 9:30. We anticipate a stop by Costco on the way back.

Happy Saturday to all.
