I changed the cartoonist's diapers as did his mother who read the above comments. Enquiring minds within the family would like to know more about the forest fire. Is this one revelation that didn't make it to adult-age dinner conversation?????
To clarify, the forest fire incident happened long ago, and the guilty parties were appropriately punished. The diaper-changing happened even longer ago, and the cartoonist has since learned to change his own diapers... -The Cartoonist

I grew up with this cartoonist. Once we started a forest fire, but we didn't realize it until it burned an acre. Oops!
I too grew up with this artist, (but sadly missed the afore-mentioned fire incident). ;-)
Jim is a truly talented cartoonist whose artistic ability and wit would easily match or exceed anything you might find in, say, The New Yorker!
