Happy 85th, Mother Tibbs!

On this Aug. 12, 2006, we happily celebrate our ever-youthful mother, Virginia Tibbs, who has reached a milestone of 85 years of living and giving on this earth.

Of course, we think she's the best mother that ever lived, and we're thrilled to make her day something special. As yet, she doesn't know about the special, so we aren't going to tell.

We are anxious though to honor our mother who has honored all of our lives in so many special ways. Happy Birthday, Mother Tibbs!

By the way, this is Mother in Sandpoint's Fourth of July Parade with another fine local citizen, Mr. Skip Pucci. Skip approached Mother at Ivanos a year ago and told her they had a date for the Fourth. Both kept the date and had a great time in the parade.
