A good weekend

The weekend went by fast, but the memories will linger for a long, long time. I don't know how my daughter does it, but when she puts an ambitious plan in motion, she sees it through----and everyone has a good time in the process.

After 5 p.m. Friday: leave Seattle
11:15 p.m.: arrive at Lovestead, play with dogs, visit and eat cookies, watch a little TV.
6:30 p.m.: Get up, put first load of laundry in the washer, watch a movie, take pictures
9:30 p.m.: Take friends and Kiwi on tour of Lovestead, drive the 4-H wheeler, eat cookies
noon: head toward town to show friends the hot spots in Sandpoint, eat lunch at Spuds
3:30 p.m.: Return to Lovestead, eat cookies, bake ANZAC cookies for Grandma, finish laundry,
take pictures
5 p.m.: Take cookies to Grandma, visit with aunts, tour the horse barn.
6:30 p.m.: Return to Lovestead, saddle horses, take friends for ride through the fields,
take pictures
7:30 p.m.: Freshen up, head into town with Mom and Dad. Dine on delectable pasta dishes at
Arlo's.
8:45 p.m.: Say good bye to Mom and Dad, head to Eichardts to see friends.
11 p.m.: Return to Lovestead
11 p.m.: Head for bed, try to sleep

5:30 a.m. Sunday: Get up, take showers, pack, say good bye to doggies
6 a.m.: Leave Lovestead
8 a.m.: Register for Bloomsday
9 a.m.: Run Bloomsday
11:30 a.m. Eat lunch at Cyrus O'Leary's
1 p.m.: Head back to Seattle

9 p.m.: Write email announcing safe arrival in Seattle and determination of friends to come
back to Lovestead this summer so they can spend more time, eat more cookies, ride
horses longer, and take mountain hikes.

A good time was had by all, including Mom and Dad, who sure do love these visits from the kiddies.
