I'm going to let Annie's camera take a starring role on slightdetour this morning. She has posted an album of her photos taken during her Saturday adventure to the 10,000 foot level of Mount Rainier.
She accompanied four other geocachers on the hike, which took four hours going up and two hours coming back down. I'm not sure of the term but maybe it's called glassading when you sit on your rear and slide down the mountain.
She said it was pretty fun, the glassading, but she's not liking the intense sunburn on her face, which also includes areas inside her nostrils. Annie's going on another similar adventure to another peak in the Cascade range this weekend.
Her photo album from this hike can be found at (http://flickr.com/photos/nnlove/sets/72157600589378525/)
By the way, Bill and I returned to Boulder Creek yesterday on a quieter, gentler day, and he successfully planted his cache at Boulder Meadows, plus we caught lots of little lunkers. No lightning, no rain, no wind, just pleasant July weather.
