Fun in North, South Idaho

Well, this foursome is now in South Idaho, but this photo was snapped in North Idaho just before Willie, Debbie (the two-legged Loves) and Brooke and Todd, the 4-legged species took off for Boise. They anticipated many stops and some serious potty training along the way. Todd (blue collar collie who will live with Irene Williams, Debbie's mom) and Brooke who'll reside with Willie and Debbie, scared the beejeebers out of us yesterday morning.

Taking a cue from Miss Lily, they ran off while on a family walk through the woods, headed to wherever their noses would take them. We finally found them 45 minutes later at the neighbors' house to the West. They were tired.

Miss Kea-Reba, who's gonna stay at the Lovestead-- she's the one in the back of the dog carrier, preferred to stay home rather than getting lost. Smart dog!

She has settled in and is enjoying the first peace and quiet of her lifetime, after starting out with six siblings. Tomorrow, her brother Webster comes, and he'll be staying two weeks until his new mom comes from Palm Springs.

Southern Idaho is well represented with the photos from Upper and Lower Mesa Falls on Henry's Fork of the Snake River. My new friend, Bonnie Warne, who teaches at South Fremont High School in St. Anthony, was kind enough to take me to see the falls, which are among the most beautiful I've ever seen. And, the lodge isn't bad either.

Enjoy.
