We received that Mother's Day rain yesterday but not before I had a chance to finish dragging the remainder of the hayfield and throwing out seed to the bare spots. With warmer temps coming later in the week, it should have been perfect timing, which is a rarity around here.
Cows and calves are out in Taylor's pasture across the road, and I suspect Bert Wood will be bringing some of his herd to Meserve's this week. The contractor is coming this morning to plot out the new storage shed/shop, so May is on the move.
Bill and I enjoyed a quick trip to a geocaching site yesterday before dining at Slate's with Barbara, Laurie and Mother. Of course, I've included some quiz questions among the photos. Can't ever rid myself of that teaching syndrome.
So take your quiz and enjoy the photos. Also, have a glorious Monday.
