An afternoon with friends

Angela, her mom and her son brought apple slices for the horses and pickled asparagus for the humans. Yesterday afternoon at the Lovestead was another special day.

Along with Angela, came Jeff with "Jenny's Journal." Later, Vicki and Gale brought raspberry plants from their patch.

After watching "Jenny's Journal," we walked and drove to the God Tree. A little frolic, a lot of good visiting and some special moments at the tree and with the animals meant a memorable day for all concerned.

Angela and Jeff both graduated with our mutual friend Jenny. Angela came from Bend, Ore., where she's the business manager of Bend's restored theater. Jeff flew up from Los Angeles where he works as a movie box office data man.

The Dolsbys came from across the lake where they've lived for the past several years on their 2-acre Nirvana.

Thanks to each of you for a special afternoon.

I wish I could have joined you and the gang yesterday. Jeff said that I will fall in love with your property. I'm already in love with your artistic and generous sprit. Can I simply be one of your vicarious students from another life? Let's pretend I was on your yearbook staff and I wrote insightful, forward-thinking articles on global warming issues (which I really was in 8th grade). BTW, what girl thinks about acid rain in 8th grade? Girls that age go to the mall. Crazy.

Let it be know that we are on the path to the Northwest. Portland or Bust! Hugs! - Krisianna

Thank you so much for a most memorable afternoon. The Lovestead truly lives up to its name. A little piece of paradise in an world growing ever-busy by the year.

I cherish my initiation into the Lodgepole Society.

Thanks again and a Happy Father's Day to Bill,
