Cis, the Retired is always helping us out in one way or another. She and Kenny, "The King," came over a few weeks ago with a sack of used CD's.

"Put 'em in your cherry tree," Cis told me. "They'll scare away the birds."

So, I got that chore accomplished last week, as far up as I could go, that is. I guess those robins and the little critters who kept getting stuck in the netting last summer can have the cherries on the top of the tree if they'll just leave the lower fruit alone.

I'll be reporting on the success of this project.
