Horses come home to the Lovestead

We had a busy day with the horses yesterday. Lefty came home. Reyvan and Rosie went home to Barbara and Laurie's while Cochie stayed with Lefty.

Then, we went to Spokane where Lily's trainer and our longtime family friend Monty Collison saddled up to show what Lily knows after a month at boot camp.

It was a three-rider day for Lily, and she took it all in her stride. First, Monty, then Laurie, then yours truly.

Yours truly is practically floating this morning having them home and knowing Lily is going to be a fun horse for me to ride.

Cochie wasn't so happy to see Lily's arrival. In the short span of six hours, she claimed Lefty as her own and then spent the whole night chasing former Top Dog Horse Lily around the barnyard.

I'm happy to report this morning that they seem to be building some bridges to friendship.
