Fourth of July Potpourri

Batch Two of our family with partial pup Peta: Jim, Laurie, and Barbara on our Fourth of July outing. It included a nice hike, meeting lots of locals along the trail, snapping dozens of photos, keeping track of four happy dogs, and five people enjoying a lot of pretty scenery. Oh yeah, there was some geocaching too.

Later, we gathered at the Lovestead for a bountiful barbecue, sharing of hike photos and a nice stroll through the tall grass in the woods.

Meserves put on quite a show next door; we didn't hear much out of the Taylors. They must have gone somewhere else.

All horses, dogs and people survived the day and the night. It a fun holiday.
