Bill saw me grab my camera before heading outside yesterday. "Take a picture of that fence so George can see an old-fashioned North Idaho winter." So, I did.
George is my SHS 1965 classmate who lives in Maryland. We had heard from him yesterday, so George was on our minds.

This shot is directly out the sliding-glass door.

wow thanks for sharing the amazing pictures! it is so pretty from here! i know everyone is getting a little fed up with it. my aunt and uncle who live up flume creek are thinking its about time to head to Baja sunshine!if they can get out the road! we have been hearing a lot on the news from spokane about the roofs caving in and such. really tough for everyone i know... hang in there! and your right,it's nice to step back and enjoy it for it's beauty for a little while too.

sure hope the temps of 35 to 39 on the coming Wed.& Thurs. helps slide that snow off the barn..sure looking awful high... and with Monday and Tues. bunch coming in...

Outstanding photos that show the beauty of North Idaho in deep Winter.

This frigid morning there were crystals of snow flying through the air, and reflecting off the already fallen snow. Made me breathe a prayer of thanks for such natural beauty. Backbreaking, yes, but look for the beauty and rejoice, as you are doing! :)
