Dogs on My Head and Happy New Year

Happy New Year. Happy Birthday, Tanner. Happy first day of snow in 2009.

Yup, it's still falling, and they're predicting another 4-10 inches today.

I had a little unfinished photographic business to tend to on this morning's blog. I didn't snap too many photos during the Christmas week, but there are a few worth sharing.

Annie Dog has officially moved to the barn. It was her choice, and she's quite content out there in her straw bed next to Lily. With Annie in the barn, that means the Border Collies get to come inside more often.

And, when Border Collies come in to visit, they're happy to jump on couches, lick heads, faces---anything human cuz Border Collies are filled with love.

Also, part of the crowd gathered one day to meet Scout over at the Colburn farm. He was a hit.

Finally, the Christmas tree, which is usually taken down on New Year's Day had to go early for fear of needle infestation.

Well, we have needle infestation anyway, and I'm figuring on vacuuming them up for the next year.

Hope everyone had a safe and fun New Year's Eve. Bill and I partied by eating chips and praying that Gonzaga would get its act together and win. That was not to be. Better luck to the Zags in 2009, and we hope all went/goes well with Coach Mark Few's new baby, which was due Dec. 24. The coach left Spokane late yesterday to get to the game planned to get back to his wife as soon as possible after the game.

Let 2009 begin, and may it be a year of cheer!

Sorry about the Zags, but of course I was for the Lady Vols. It looks like our TN Titans might have a place in this years Super Bowl. Of course that is just a prediction, but Titan fans are holding their breath.

Both the men's and women's Zags lost. Bad couple of days--no joy in Zagville.

Good luck to your Titans; since the Seahawks never made it, I'll root for your Titans.

Happy New Year, Patsy!
