No need for a thousand words . . . .

The old Ford got caught out in the field early in this seemingly marathon winter. We never had a chance to fire up the battery and move it to shelter. So, it hibernates.

There was no excuse. When the sun came out yesterday in the early afternoon, anyone around here who neglected to put down the snow shovel in exchange for a camera, was missing the positive side of winter.

It can be pretty, and when it is, the beauty temporarily soothes all those aching muscles and sore bones.

We had seven below this morning. The sun is up, not a cloud in the sky, and it's gonna stay cold for a few hours.

We ARE in the mode where if you don't like what Mother Nature's dealing you, wait five hours. The next storm starts tomorrow.

In the meantime, we'll probably break our routine instead of our backs today and go enjoy some of the beauty.

There will be work enough ahead.

Happy Saturday.
