If that morning dove had any sense he would fly south to my back yard where they sun bathe and eat bird seed every morning with a dozen or so other different types of birds. Please do a Mapquest for him! (By the way, have you ever seen how brazen they are with their nests? Two sticks any where - even your front door if there is a nook - and always two eggs - 3 weeks later the two babies are flying out of the nest!)

I agree, looks like a dove to me :)
Could be you're correct. We have flickers that always hang out in that tree. I haven't seen any doves around, but maybe one came for a sleep over.
The angle on the beak makes it look more like a dove.
