Just Cuz'ns

Brown First Cousin Reunion Yesterday at the Lovestead: On top, Carol and Madeline of the Walthos. Below: Rita (Waltho), Marianne (Brown), Mary Edna, Sue and Patti (Skelton), Mary (married to Eddie Skelton), and Lauri (Waltho).

They all started out life with the Skeltons from Pasco, the Walthos from Ephrata and the Browns in Sandpoint.

Yesterday, they came from Western Washington, the Tri-Cities and Spokane to spend the day.

Unfortunately, I forgot to take my camera to one of the highlights: dinner at Second Avenue Pizza, followed by a little dancing and singing at the table.
Such "good" dancing and singing that Second Avenue Pizza owner and Lost in the '50s organizer Carolyn Gleason signed my cousins Patti and Sue up on a contract to appear on stage with their lip synching and dancing for the 25th Annual Lost in the '50s celebration in May, 2010.

Certainly that news will lead thousands more into Sandpoint. Right, Carolyn???

To say we had a good time yesterday is so minimal. To find the proper words to express the exhilaration of the event is impossible.

So, I'll just let the pictures tell the story.

Thanks, Cuz'ns! You're something else.

We now have plans for Ireland, St. Paddy's Day Run in Seattle next March and who knows what else.

Hi Marianne,
Thanks so much for all the FUNN! It was a memorable weekend that will live in family lore. Can't wait for next time.
Our best to Bill and your mom.
Love,
