One of Bill's projects this week was to contruct a gate set-up so we could use the hay field for pasture.

We had to widen the gate area this year so Harvey's hay equipment could get into the field.

Bill rigged up a walking gate and a 12-foot gate, side-by-side so horses and equipment could go through.

Yesterday was the herd's first day on the new pasture. They took it in their stride and seem quite happy with their new setting, and, of course, all the grass.
