Just along the trail, leading from the Ginter Fish and Game property on Rapid Lightning Road to the Trout Creek Fish and Game preserve near the Pack River Delta on HWY 200.

Lily and I had been on this trail once before but only for a short distance.

During yesterday's ride, we both conquered our fears of what might be lurking along the way.

In my case, it wasn't so much what might be lurking but how it may affect Lily's normally calm demeanor and my ability to stay firmly seated in the saddle.

In Lily's case, everything was new----fallen trees along the road, big white bolders, bridges and water crossings. She met them all head on and survived.
