The Lovestead Corps of Engineer has begun the gradual fall down of Big Blue.
Note the hose. For efficiency and for "green" sake, all that water is flowing into Pasture No. 1.
Ruthann tells me it's important to see that Big Blue is completely dry before storage, lest we have mold pockets form over the winter.
Our neighbor to the north, Claire Hansen says his cue for pool drawdown is when he's sitting inside watching football instead of frolicking outside in the water.
So, I think we're on schedule, and soon we'll be getting the towels out in accordance with Ruthann's advice.
It's nice to have neighborhood consultants when you're a pool engineer.

After my visit to the Lovestead I realized I didn't see the pool. Where was it? Behind the barn? How did I miss it?
