~~A slight detour~~

Laurie and Rusty took the lead on our trip back from the Trout Creek Fish and Game preserve.

Laurie follows beauty, but she admittedly doesn't have a sense of direction.

When she saw the drop-off to the river straight ahead, she figured she'd taken the wrong trail.

We didn't complain. It was a golden oasis in our color-deprived fall.

So, we took advantage of the photo op.
