Monday morning Maui dispatch

The photos depict our activities yesterday, in reverse order.

We caught the sunset at the end of the day and a whole lot of beautiful sites throughout the day.

We met at a restaurant near this beach spot with my first cousins, Sue Skelton, her brother Ed and his wife Mary.

Fate would have it that they planned a week in Maui the same week as we did.

During our dinner visit, Mary had a couple of phone calls from their home in Pasco to learn about the electricity going off because of the cold.

We did not take for granted our good fortune to be here in the warmth and to have some wonderful folks back home taking care of things while we enjoyed ourselves in Paradise.

We'll be home to freeze soon.

In the meantime, we'll do our best to enjoy this short break from winter.
