Two hours later than usual, this is the beginning of my Monday morning blog.

After reading some of the horror stories of "the cold" back home, I am consumed with ample amounts of Catholic guilt for being in Paradise while family, friends and my beloved critters hunker down to stay warm.

So, I guess the only penance I can offer is a few photos of what we're experiencing in the land of sunshine, beautiful flowers and warmth.

The pool is just a mere 30 feet away from where I'm sitting with my laptop.
