Birthday Baseball Surprize at 41 South

We celebrated two birthdays last night by enjoying a lovely dinner at 41 South (once Swan's Landing) at the south end of the Long Bridge.

Old Loves and Young Love couples gathered and another Young Love, Miss Annie joined us via cell phone.

Through the technology of Debbie's speaker phone, Bill (he's 60 today) and Willie (he was 33 yesterday) learned that they'll be attending a Seattle Mariners vs. Texas Rangers baseball game May 1 with good seats on the lower level.

After they've finished that game, they'll move on to a Seattle Sounders soccer match.

Annie also has plans for Bill to meet the folks at Groundspeak where she works on Sunday.

I think the guys are excited. Now, they just have to wait for 28 days of April to pass by.

In the meantime, we enjoyed the dinner and the visiting.

Today Bill opened some cards, and he'll plant the two spruce ornamental shrubs I bought him. I figured a forester needed some sort of tree to remember this milestone in his life.

The folks at 41 South do an excellent job with their service and food preparation.

In addition to Bill, I have to wish Miss Lily a happy fifth birthday. I did so this morning, but she didn't seem too impressed. She was more interested in getting to her breakfast flakes of hay.
