I hadn't been up the Trout Creek Road in years, so Bill, the dogs and I went there last night.

The Trout Creek Road, to which I refer, turns off HWY 200 just beyond the Pack River Bridge.

We drove for about four miles and then walked another three miles through this Forest Capital land.

We even scared up a moose. At least, that's what Bill thinks was crashing through the brush next to the road as we walked by.

Bill says horseback riders are often seen in the area, and I can understand why with scenes like this.
