We drove to Lunch Peak via the Trestle Creek Road.

Then, we went to Clark Fork on the newly graded and very smooth Lightning Creek Road.

Along the way, we spotted these deer in a lovely setting.

Chris did the honors with the camera. 

Once in Clark Fork, we drove the strip and decided on Mom's Cafe for lunch.

Then, it was back to Hope where Chris is staying in her sister's houseboat.

One more good bye and parting company with the confident knowledge that we'll do this again some day.
