No complaints this morning, just a little concern about the plum-tree blossoms cuz of last night's slight frost.
We woke up to a spectacular Sunday, the first of many lovely spring days to come.
Dedicated Bloomies are lining up in Spokane, soon to leave the starting gates for another Bloomsday Classic.
Here at the Lovestead I'm stoked and ready to leave my starting gate, enjoying the blessings of spring. More seeds will go in the dirt today----green beans and maybe some more peas.
The lawnmower will get a work out, and I'm hoping the horses will be fully shed off in the next couple of days.
This will be a John Fuller week, not because of riding but because Mr. Lefty's feet need trimming desperately. So, the horses will probably get their first set of shoes for the year.

Once that's completed, if the yard and garden work get under control, maybe I can finally saddle up and enjoy my first horseback ride of 2012.
On this Sunday morning, we're also enjoying Debbie's occasional Facebook check-ins from Paris.
Yesterday she fulfilled her lifelong dream---standing and posing in front of the Eiffel Tower.
What timing for her to be in France with historical elections taking place!
We think she was in London a few days ago when the mayor was re-elected.
Debbie and her best friend Alicia have the rest of this week to continue their traveling.
We miss her, though, and will be glad to see her back and hear her stories next weekend.
There's not a whole lot else to say on a morning like this except to get out there and Carpe Diem!
Happy Spring Sunday!
