Fun on the Fourth

This morning I'm planning to post one photo at a time with a caption.  So, each time something works right, I'll publish. So, check back later for the full show.  It took several takes before Willie successfully spelled out the word Love with his sparkler last night.  When he did, though, Annie's photo caught a finale of sorts to a great Fourth of July here at the Lovestead.  Those are the outbuildings in the background, and that's one of the Meserve's fireworks displays in the upper right corner.  Although there was no coordination, the Love-Meserve fireworks show was pretty impressive.  I'm sure a good time was had by all.
We attempted, as a group, to spell out "Love" with a heart at each end, but my sparkler refused to stay lit until everyone else's ran out of fuel.  So, you're looking at a feeble attempt at the word but pretty good results with the hearts at either end.
The folks at The Bridge had a nice Fourth of July barbecue, and Mother enjoyed the added fun of three puppies, three daughters and one granddaughter visiting her.
Laurie enjoyed lots of TLS (that's Tender Loving Service) along with some great moments with her Jessie.
Pups and people had a perfect evening for the big barbecue and fireworks show.
Alicia, Willie, Andrew and Debbie spent most of the day in town with the Girl Scout float and coordinating kids' activities at City Beach.  They were happy to arrive at the Lovestead for the big feast.
Annie on the phone inviting her friend Jenessa to come and join us.
Willie and Bill and the grill----lots of good meat--ribs, chicken breasts, hamburgers and German sausage.
The 4-wheeler got some action, and the pups enjoyed the ride.
