Idaho's Beauty along HWY 93

Stanley, Idaho

Redfish Lake

Bridge near Sun Valley

Our drive yesterday took us from Twin Falls, Idaho, to Wisdom, Mont., and I took a lot of photos while Bill found several geocaches.

It was truly a stunning fall day with colors not quite their height but pretty enough.

We'll be home today after visiting with friends here in Wisdom, where strangers almost instantly become friends.  I've always loved this place, and this experience has only enhanced that love.

People are friendly, the food is wonderful and the stars shine brightly over the "Land of 10,000 Haystacks."  This morning I walked from the motel across the highway to the Antlers Bar for 50-cent coffee.

Big switch from the $11 for one latte and one coffee we paid each morning in Las Vegas

Only problem we found here is no cell phone service, but that's okay.

Happy Tuesday.

I LOVE Stanley,ID and I LOVE fall, maybe I should combine the two. Gorgeous pictures. I wonder if that rock wall in the creek/river is a property boundary line.
