Just Sharing
A longtime, dear family friend sent me a link yesterday via email. It brought tears to my eyes.
As meaningful events happen in our lives, we shed tears of sadness, tears of joy and sometimes tears of deep emotional response to something we see or hear.
In this case, choice number 3 fits the bill.
On what has to be the most stunningly beautiful and memorable New Year's Day in a lifetime here in North Idaho, this video served as a fitting accessory to the mix of a day filled with enjoying the supreme majesty of both Mother Nature and God's handiwork, experiencing fun family activities, chuckling with delight as dogs frolicked in the woods and topping off the day with the annual late gift exchange with Willie and Debbie who spend Christmas in Boise.
This version of "Auld Lang Syne," which I wish to share, stands out among the many I've heard and/or seen performed in my lifetime, and, yes, it offers some deep meaning about what's really important as we go about each day of this life on earth.
I don't know if the production will be redundant to many blog followers, but the video was a first for me, and its message resonated in a meaningful way.
In short, it's simply beautiful and definitely worth multiple viewings.
So, bear with me and enjoy yet another New Year's message with a blend of awe, joy and gentle reminders.
Then, we can move on with all the stuff that's yet to come over the next 365 days of 2016, a leap year.
Many thanks to my friend for sending it my way.
Happy Saturday. GO, ZAGS!
