Lookin' Like One Fine Day

I take photos of these scenes all the time, but this morning it felt especially good to point the camera to the east and see the mountains and later to the west to see Schweitzer and its surrounding mountains.

Our daily vistas have returned. Thank goodness!  We've missed seeing them for the past week, so there's a new sense of appreciation for relatively clear skies and views.

With a predicted high of 75, I can't imagine conditions getting much better.

Today, we'll be taking in some scenery and seeing a man about a horse .  My brother and sister have their horse named Chrome at a trainer's, so we'll go check out how she's doing.

I think we're also planning to combine a little picnicking with the scenery and horse stuff, so it should be a fun day.   Maybe even some good photos.

My brother lives near Missoula, Mont., and, because of the huge forest fires in their area, it has been weeks since he's seen clear skies, so I' sure today will be a treat to experience some relative clarity.

Plus, today's activities will allow us to escape the constant hurricane coverage, which perennially provides television journalists their badges of honor for standing out in the middle of rain, wind and flying objects.

Anywho, that's about it for today.  Hope everyone who's feeling the luxury of being "smoke free" enjoys the day.

Happy Sunday.
