On to State!

It was a great and electrifying experience to be sitting in the bleachers at Les Rogers Basketball Court last night.

The host Sandpoint High Girls basketball team played their hearts out and came up with a big second win over Moscow in the best "two out of three" for the tournament championship.

Now, they're headed to Boise next week to try to take it a step further and maybe even win a state championship.

Congratulations, Lady Bulldogs and staff on a phenomenal season and good luck at State.

Today it's a beautiful day in the neighborhood.  The sun is shining.  The air is cold, and we have a busy Saturday ahead, topped off by a ZAGS feeding fest (breakfast for dinner) and what could easily be the biggest games of the year for the Lady ZAGS and the men's team.

Good luck to both as they take on the perennial nemesis St. Mary's.  I think the real prayer beads may come out for tonight's game.

So, short and to the point this morning:  Happy Saturday and GO, ZAGS!
