Horsin'

These two hadn't seen each other for 12 years.

Lefty seemed to remember Jane from his youthful days at his first home, Ravenwood Arabians in Ronan, Mont.

Jane told me that every time a foal is born at her farm, she blows into its nostrils.

"They never forget you," she added.

Considering the immediate bonding between Jane and Lefty out in our pasture yesterday, I do not doubt Jane's words.

She is over here this weekend to watch the Thank Goodness It's the Last Horse Show of the Season.

Several horses bred at her ranch will be participating in today's horse-show classes, including Lefty.

After Jane left yesterday, Lefty came up to the barn area for his bath.

He and his bestie Terra will team up for six or seven classes today at the Bonner County Fairgrounds.

Annie is also here for the weekend after her recent
vacation in Portugal, Spain, Scotland and England.

She'll be hanging out with cousins and running in the Scenic Half Marathon tomorrow.

That said, it's a busy weekend, so today's post will be brief.

Enjoy the photos, come to the fairgrounds and watch the horse show.

 Happy Saturday.

CB also came from Ravenwood Arabians.

Gotta keep that boy clean after his bath.
