Simply Perfect Gifts of a Day

My friend Helen agreed.

It was a perfect day yesterday.

If we could have days like yesterday 365 times a year, I think there'd be no complaining.

The temperature remained just right pretty much all day with an occasional slight breeze.

A beautiful blue sky a perfect blend of white clouds teamed up with a generous amount of sunshine.

I spent most of my day mowing lawn and am quite satisfied with the final product.

White clover has replaced dandelions and off-and-on cotton blizzards of the past few weeks have ceased.

Bill had to have considered it a perfect day cuz the Grouse Creek Road opened after being washed out a few weeks ago.

That meant he could launch his evening fly-fishing trips up that direction.  He did say the creek was kinda high and that he saw some fresh bear scat, so he came home earlier than usual.

Meanwhile, over in Yellowstone, I have not yet heard if the bears invaded Annie's tent last night.

But I did learn that Old Faithful performed perfectly at the designated time.

After all, what's in a name if you can't live up to it????

As always, there was a lot of other stuff popping up during the day that wasn't exactly perfect.

Nonetheless, I choose not to dwell on that this morning.

Instead, I remain grateful for the moments of perfection AND the simple gifts that made the day special.

Happy Sunday.
