Storm before the Calm

Twas wild and woolly yesterday.

And, sometimes downright beautiful.

We had a little dose of everything for weather several times during the day.

And, we could deal with it cuz this next week is supposed to be ideal spring weather.

No rain, moderate to warm temperatures and definitely a time for buds to burst out and leaves to adorn all those trees and bushes that have been naked all winter long.

Annie's coming home for a few days, and we might even go on a spring picnic.

Doesn't get any better than that.

While crazy weather moved through the area outside, the Arabian club worked inside painting trail class poles which will be used for upcoming clinics and horse shows.

Some colorful stuff going on in my sisters' indoor arena yesterday, along with some visiting, eatin' and meetin'.

I liked this story and thought it was worth sharing.  Maybe we could use a similar billboard around here.

And, while we're on the subject of LOVE, our daughter-in-law and Bonner County Food Bank director extraordinaire Debbie Love has organized a GoFundMe for one of her own employees.

You can find the GoFundMe form on Debbie's or my Facebook page.

Here's the story about Mary Davis and Nala.

Hello,

We have set up a fundraiser for Mary  Davis while she recovers from major surgery. The healing process is going to take much longer than anticipated.

Mary works for the food bank, and has one of the biggest hearts, and always helping others. She works tirelessly ensuring that our community is taken care of with their basic needs.

Mary would never ask for help.

Soooo  this where we come in to pay it forward back to our dearest Mary!

The funds will help pay for the lodging of her sweet dog, and best friend, Nala. While Mary is healing Nala will have to stay away a little longer, and the lodging fees are adding up.

She would also use the funds to assist with her utilities and immediate living expenses as she heals.

Any amount will help ease her stress as she recovers. We want her to take the time she needs to heal completely and to know that her community stands with her and prays for a quick recovery.

Thank you for your support and
consideration.

If you're like me and would prefer to donate by check or directly rather than GoFundMe, I'm sure you could send a check in Mary's name to the Bonner Community Food Bank, 1707 Culvers Drive, Sandpoint, ID. 83864.

Happy Sunday.
