Let me start off this morning with a "this-just-in!" piece of news.
The information came from Facebook, but I think it's credible news.
Sandpoint's Adam Cochran just finished today's Berlin Marathon.
Bill and I have been keeping track of his recent travels to Turkey, Jordan and now Germany.
Adam was one of Bill's Boy Scout's and a former student body president at Sandpoint High.
He now works for the U.S. National Park Service at the Washington Mall, and he's a wildland forest fighter.
Adam has always been an adventurer. He's traveled the world and even written a book about his travels.
Now, he can add the Berlin Marathon to his list of amazing accomplishments.
Congratulations, Adam.
Here in Sandpoint we've welcomed in another sunny day among the many of late.
No complaints here, as I'll probably spend a portion of the day mowing the lawn, which has been growing rich green grass, almost like it does in the spring.
Bill and Willie spent yesterday fishing on the Coeur d'Alene River. Bill said the action has slowed down considerably since his last visit there, but they had a great day.
I spent part of my day doing some cleaning and organizing. Then, it was time to head off with the camera.
Yesterday's trip took me around the Sunnyside loop along Lake Pend Oreille where boaters of various persuasions were enjoying a splendid day of sunbeams on the water.
My friend Connie posted on her blog yesterday with some important information.
So, I'll send you there and wish everyone a happy Sunday.
