Running late this morning, so this post will be brief.
Little Bridie has had some tummy problems since her surgery.
So, we were all up in the middle of the night to attend to the situation.
Tummy problems have no impact on her desire to run and play and love.
But they do require maintenance.
I've read that her situation is not unusual, so we're hoping she'll get past this aspect of post surgery soon.
All that said, it was a short night, and we did try to get a little more sleep.
We'll be spending the day, monitoring our little pup and doing whatever we can to help her out.
Twas a beautiful day around here yesterday. I do believe the welcome and warm sun melted some snow, but we've got a long ways to go before we can pretend spring is coming.
So, we'll soldier on, and distract ourselves watching the Olympics and Princess Bridie.
Below, you'll see my friend Connie's blog link. She's also sharing puppy stories about their Willie.
And, I included a short poem which a Facebook friend posted yesterday. Dressed it up with a sunflower of Hope.
Seems like a wise and simple reminder for making it through this time of the year.
Happy Sunday.
