Simplicity

Keeping it simple today as I take the opportunity to watch the pomp and circumstance and pageantry of  British history.

Just pictures and a neat story about the Queen's beekeepers.

Happy Wednesday.

See photos taken at Balmoral below.

My neighbor Christine sent some more photos yesterday after they visited Balmoral in Scotland where Queen Elizabeth II passed away last week.

The photos speak for themselves about the love, respect and reverence the people felt toward Elizabeth and her long reign as Queen of England.

Her subjects were not alone.  So many of us who have lived through the entire reign of Queen Elizabeth felt the same respect and now feel the sadness.

I've been watching a portion of the procession as the Queen's coffin is transported through the streets of London.

Impressive, somber and a beautiful tradition.

Thank you, Christine, for sharing these photos.

The Queen's empty chair at Balmoral.

A fascinating story about the need to tell the bees of the Queen's passing.
