A delightful pecan-crusted chicken salad at Trinity
Twas a pretty good and tasty Friday yesterday.
Today it's "Good bye, Daylight and "Hello, Darkness."
The beat goes on as we officially enter into the winter months.
A tasty carrot cake at Debbie's birthday party, which was thrown in her honor yesterday by her Food Bank staff and volunteers.
Twas a full house in the dining area at Farmhouse yesterday.
And, it was neat for me to see a large number of the friendly and selfless folks who volunteer or work at the Bonner Community Food Bank.
Many are pictured below. Hats off to all of them for the hours they give in behalf of those in need.
Prior to that party, Bill, Willie, Debbie and I met at Trinity Restaurant where we were fortunate to get the last table available for lunch.
Everyone seemed to have the same idea: eat at Trinity one last time. Debbie and I both enjoyed the pecan-crusted chicken salad.
Also, it was music to our ears to hear that the salad will appear on the menu at one of Justin Dick's other downtown restaurants, Jalapenos or 113 Main.
Twas a busy day at the restaurant, and conversations among staff and patrons suggested that Trinity could possibly rise again, depending on the plans of the new owners.

Last evening, Bill and I enjoyed watching the ZAGS exhibition game while trying to match names with faces of the new players.
One name that we heard the most was Ike (EEKay). The Wyoming transfer scored 24 points. We were also very impressed with him in the after-game interview.
It's very clear that he loves being a part of the Gonzaga culture, and we'll love watching him score those baskets.
Happy Saturday. Enjoy the photos.
Food Bank volunteer Curt Hagen sang a funny ditty for Debbie.
Lily, Lefty and CB seem to be adjusting to their new surroundings AND helping Roxane when she does her fencing jobs.
Another carpet of leaves is forming around the yard.
For now, they'll just have to fall and stay in place because another rainy day has begun.
Hopefully, a dry spell in the next day or so will allow me the opportunity to pick this batch up and haul them away.
