Merry Christmas!

💚💛💘💓💜

The bacon has been fried.

Bill is making his blueberry/huckleberry muffins.

When Willie and Debbie come, we'll open Love family presents.

They're cooking dinner for today, and we're appreciative.

Yesterday the local family contingent met at the Sandpoint Cinema, did some cheering when the Seattle Seahawks won their game and then went on into the theater to watch The Boys in the Boat.

It was sort of our collective gift to family, and we all loved it.  Shed a tear or two too.

The movie is a great uplifting and inspiring gift for all who are hard-working and goal-oriented on Christmas Day and for the days after.

Also, the production is a phenomenal gift to the University of Washington and to the Seattle area.

With the University of Washington vying for a National college football championship this year, the movie's release at this time has all the more meaning.

And, though, it does not include the portion of Joe Rantz's life when he lived in North Idaho---Boulder City southeast of Bonners Ferry---we who live here and who visit Boulder City are still proud.

Last night, we enjoyed dinner and visiting here at the Lovestead and opened some Love/Tibbs presents.

The weather outside is far from frightful---gorgeous, in fact, and we have a full day ahead.

So, we'll celebrate our way, and let's hope for happy times for all of you too.

Merry Christmas!
