I was thinking about just re-publishing yesterday's post for today because I didn't get too many pictures in my travels yesterday.
Too dang ugly out there!
But, as you can see, I had a puppy fix over at my sisters'.
Miss Callie knows how cute she is and knows that she doesn't even need to try to be cute.
It's just what she is.
And, she makes picture taking pretty easy too.
Hope you enjoy the photographic puppy fix.

Speaking of loveable dogs, a Border Collie sighting yesterday led me to another of my many random moments of enlightenment and new friends.
We went to lunch at the invitation of a couple of friends who have decided to go to Ireland.
I guess we visit there enough and that I talk about it enough that they thought we could give them some tips for their first trip there.
Seems like they've already done some studying in the travel guides and have nailed down a general plan.
Bill and I may have added to the plan with a few suggestions and some fun anecdotes from our personal experiences there.
During lunch, which was at MickDuff's, a couple came past our table. She was walking while he was moving along in his wheelchair, accompanied by what we figured was a therapy dog.
An immediate "Border Collie!" announcement came out of my mouth.
Later, while on my way to the ladies' room, I stopped and told them how exciting it is for us to have Border Collie sightings wherever they happen to be.
And, nine times out of ten, Border Collie owners express great love and pride for their dogs.
This couple turned out to be a mother and son, both nurse practitioners, specializing with mental health and offering virtual appointments.
Under the title of "Regenerize," Rio Peterson and his mother Tawni Miller Peterson provide services from their home in South Sandpoint.
Among the services listed are integrative mental health, cognitive enhancement, wellness peptides and memory care.
They focus on mental health in mountain towns. And, they've had personal experiences dealing with mental health after Rio injured himself in a skiing accident.
In a video where he spoke at the Panida a few days ago, he noted that the quote at the top helped him move through his darkest days.
He also emphasized the importance of reaching out to a mental health professional.

Tawni and Rio are Idaho natives, and I heard Boise State University in our conversation. I just learned that the family's horses are boarded just down the road. (Another small world!).
Border Collies, Boise State University grads and horses just down the road: a meaningful connection from that random meeting.
Nice folks and looking forward to getting to know Tawni and Rio better.
So, in closing, and when you're going through major life changes, it's worth thinking about that line again.

Happy Friday, and think SPRING
