Tater Tot Tuesday

Got bird houses.

High density too.

I want to revisit this place when the tenants move in.

I spotted these cute little row houses yesterday on a country road in my general neighborhood.

I was out looking for notable sites in the midst February's bland, partially frozen landscape.

So, the bird houses definitely led to pay dirt in my search.

Though the weather is nothing to complain about, it's still winter, and most plant life will wait a while to make its appearance.

So, we deal with February blah's, except for one shining moment in the day.  Check below.

The Love family did experience some moments of excitement yesterday, thanks to Annie.

Actually, I cooked the tater tots.  I cooked them in celebration of Annie's tour of several settings featured in the movie "Napoleon Dynamite."

We Love's have been "Napoleon Dynamite" fans for years, probably 20.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of the movie's release.

We have watched it several times, and so when Annie texted that she was going through Preston, Idaho, on her way back to Boise, we couldn't wait to see what she found.

For anyone who has NOT watched "Napoleon Dynamite," we encourage you to take the time, and, if you have strange/quirky senses of humor like the rest of us, you may be watching the movie time after time after time.

In my mind, Napoleon Dynamite ranks right up there with any movie in the Monty Python series.

Just different times, different settings and different seemingly odd but oh so real happenings.

Anyway, Annie came through for the rest of us, especially after she discovered that there was a town tour of the major settings for the movie.

So, if you're not in to high-density bird houses and you're not familiar with "Napoleon Dynamite," or if you are like us and love to revisit the movie, you should enjoy Annie's photos below and the video.

Happy Tater Tot Tuesday.

I wonder if Preston will have a tater tot festival this summer to honor the movie's 20th anniversary.
