This cute guy wanted to be in on the horse action yesterday when I went over to Roxane's to groom CB.
Two beautiful red Angus steers have shown up in the corral next to where my horses stay when they're outside.
They're both pretty friendly, and they keep track of what's going on all around them, and they act like they'd like to have some personal attention too.
CB was happy to receive his pampering, which included some brushing, clipping and combing.
I was happy to be there after another day of rain driving me and the dogs to the house.
Our late afternoon was supreme, though. Bill went down to the woods and did some work, while I did my thing at Roxane's.
We're all wondering, with a couple of predicted dry days if we'll see a grader on our road. As Bill says, the county hasn't exactly had to put out a lot of effort and money on snow removal.
Just to have the pot holes bladed away for even a day would be a nice change.
This mud and pothole situation is the worst that I can remember since we moved here almost 18 years ago.
So, I hope we see some grader action today.
In the meantime, I'm looking forward to doing some more yard work and listening to the ever-increasing numbers of birds.
Early this morning, I could actually hear a chorus of sweet tweets over behind the barn.
The earth is awakening once again, and every day brings forth more clues.
Love it.
Enjoy the photos and the throwbacks (lots are reminders of beautiful weather and times).
Happy Thursday.
Game Day today!

GO, ZAGS
Just for you, Polly.
And, for you, Loretta.
If you have followed the blog for a number of years, you probably remember the new-old motorhome, pictured here on one of its many not-so-finest days.
