This iconic rustic shed on the corner of Selle Road and West Shingle Mill is no longer standing. Its lifespan extended into 2025, and then it was gone forever.
I'm glad to have caught one last photo.
That's the fun of photography, capturing the moments, the monuments, the peeps and pets, the happenings and ensuring the road to remembering what once was.
As usual, my cameras were busy throughout 2025, capturing wherever I happened to be and whatever I happened to see.
So, as we contemplate this year, which will soon will be gone forever like the shed, I thought a two-day photo dump capturing the year as I experienced it would be fun.
One notable trend I observed while selecting these photos was the lack of people, and that absence in itself tells a story.
Regular readers will know that I've been dealing with gut issues for the past year, so with nature calling far too frequently, the natural world seemed like a good substitute for a social life. Hence, fewer peeps photos.
Happily, that has changed, and humans may show up more often in tomorrow's second half of the year photos.
Hope you enjoy images, which are gone forever except for what the cameras captured.
And, for fun, do listen to the video below while scrolling.
