Well, they've seen the big trees in Montana, they've seen the big lake, and they've eaten one brand of North Idaho pizza. Today, they'll see lots of trees and beautiful scenery from the back of a horse, and they'll eat another brand of North Idaho pizza. My Aussie's rode the Great Escape Quad at Schweitzer yesterday morning and walked the trails at Ross Creek Cedars up the Bull River Highway in Montana yesterday. We topped the night off with dinner at Icehouse Pizza in Hope. Today we'll head up to Western Pleasure Guest Ranch and set off on a trail ride. I'm hauling Lily up there and hoping she'll be more mellowed out while riding with other horses. We'll return, hopefully unscathed but fulfilled and then go on into town for Second Avenue Pizza. As I've said to the ladies: it's fun to go on vacation in your own back yard. Happy Friday. |
