If you’re in Sandpoint and you’re reading this post around 8
a.m., tune in to Radio Station 88.5 FM.
You’ll hear Willie’s voice.
He’s being interviewed about his new broadcast segment, which is being
added to his journalism-oriented offerings at Sandpoint High.
As soon as he finishes the interview, he’s off to Moscow to
teach some classes at a University of Idaho seminar during the week.
Maybe the radio interview will tell more.
It’s Tuesday, and I’m feeling fairly human again---human
enough to enjoy a nice morning walk, where these days it seems that lovely
images keep popping all over.
In fact, last night my poppies were not open. This morning they were showing their lovely
faces, as were the peonies.
Gary Finney’s little one visited with me over the fence,
while Mom just kept on eating.
Further up the road, Taylor’s cows were grazing on the same
piece of property where Taylor’s rental house is available for tenants (no
cats or horses).
My friend Cis said a photo I posted the other day looked
like a good image for a jigsaw puzzle.
Seems there are lots of jigsaw possibilities along this road during this
time of year.
The north part of the
Meserve Preserve, for example, provides some wonderful views for putting the pieces together.
And, Geneva’s single rose, among her millions of wild blooms
provides the best of eye candy.
That horse in the sky sits atop Gary Finney’s gateway, and
that last photo shows a south view of South Center Valley Road.
Meanwhile, across the road, where I'd seen a single turkey on my way north, a baby fawn was out grazing.
Just a lovely time of year, and when one is coming off a
couple of days of flu (fingers crossed that it’s over), everything looks a tad
more beautiful than usual.
Well, I’m gonna post this before Willie starts talking on
the radio.
So, Happy Tuesday to all.
