Happy Valentine's Day

Our first day in the desert has begun with an infomercial on skin care followed by Tom Bergeron showing sagging bellies and the announcer telling us what we can do with the 21-day fix.

We have looked in the mirror, and, in my case, I could use some of the advice for getting rid of wrinkles and getting rid of the winter rolls that seem to show up more than ever this morning.

Why are these fat rolls showing up?  We're in the desert where it's gonna be in the 80s, and we probably won't be wearing all those layers that hide the fat rolls all winter long.

Guess I should have done some working out before arriving here. Maybe if I watch this 21-day fix on TV, things will look better in the mirror.

Enough on fat and wrinkles----our trip has so far fallen into place without a wrinkle.  The planes took us to Sin City where I lost $2 at the airport slot and later to Phoenix where we picked up our car, found our hotel in Scottsdale (23-acre resort and a "labyrinth" as Laurie calls it, finding our room).

We're paying all the "fees" for high speed Internet, and we've parked somewhere and hope we recognize the right rental car in the lot.  We've eaten breakfast at midnight and then crashed in our 3-day abode.

Now, we're ready to see some horses.  We've heard that about 2,400 will be on the grounds at West World.  Laurie woke up at her usual 3 a.m., plugged facilty name into her cell phone and found the directions.  Then, she went back to sleep.

But we've got directions and we're just a few miles away from the grounds.

Before we leave, however, here's a Happy Valentine's day to my hubby, my critters, my other family members and everyone I LOVE.  There are a lot of you out there.

And, I do love my sisters, so we're ready to spend our Valentine's Day doing what we love, watching horse activities, taking pictures and exploring uncharted territory---for us, that is.

Which reminds me---we've got some uncharted territory to explore as we go find our rental car.

Pictures coming.  Having fun in Arizona.  GO ZAGS!  Happy Valentine's Day one more time.

Spread the love!
