Ghoulish Day and a Sampling of My Peeps TBT

May your day and Halloween be filled with special treats.

In other news, we're gonna have a celebration!!

That would be the Sandpoint High School Class of 1965, which for a few decades held a record for the most graduates ever.

Today, some of us locals in the class will be getting together to decide when and where we'll celebrate 55 years of life since our high school graduation.

We know it will be next year sometime, and we know that the celebration may be modified a bit from past reunions.

We're getting older, and the older we get, the more the KISS formula guides our decisions:

KEEP IT SIMPLE, STUPID!

We have nearly a year to do that, but in the meantime, it will be fun just getting together.

I often say that along with the bond of family, co-workers and close friends, our classmate connections are often just as intense.

After all, the better part of our youth was spent with these people, and since that time, when we get together, it seems more fun every time.  Many have remained lifelong friends.

So, today marks an exciting start to a new mission:  plan that party and hope that everyone who is physically able will show up.

In honor of today's meeting, I picked out a sampling of photos from my library, reminding SHS Class of 65'ers of good times past at reunions and during life in general.

Enjoy.

Happy Thursday.

Don't eat too many sweets.
