Monday Miscellany

Twas a lovely and lively sunny Sunday for all to enjoy.

Farmer Annie got her fix in the field on the tractor.

Horses soaked up the sun and enjoyed an afternoon slumber.  After all, they had gotten up early and stood around for an hour waiting for the lazy human to come and feed them.

They needed their rest.

Liam put in the miles as an assistant to whoever happened to be outside working.

Mom Love alternated between the garden/fields and the living room while keeping track of the Seahawks who finally pulled of their win in an exciting game.

The raspberry patch no longer looks like a jungle, more leaves have gone to piles and the hay field brush hogging project should end today.

Bill and Annie headed to Spokane for the airport, and Bill got his cuisine fix at Ivars seafood on the way home.

Willie and Debbie enjoyed a Debbie birthday dinner which had followed a birthday brunch.

Then, they came over and picked up remaining Costco cake, which will surely be gobbled up today by hungry students or teachers.

Jets flew over and could not hide their evidence in the bright blue sky.

We enjoyed a nice family weekend filled with festivities and individual family fun.

Now, another busy week begins, including an election tomorrow where residents can decide on stability in school funding for our Lake Pend Oreille District 84.

I'll be voting YES on the indefinite term supplemental maintenance and operations levy to avoid having to vote every other year to fund our students.

Seems like students and schools have a pretty long term impact on our society.

Therefore, they should be assured of permanent funding for day-to-day operations.

I strongly encourage other voters to vote in favor of tomorrow's levy.

YES

That's all.

Happy Monday, and do plan to take time to vote tomorrow.
