Monday Morning Takes on Yesterday's Marathon Snow Event

Six new inches piled up in driveway after noon plowing.

One trip of many to clean off the satellite dishes every ten minutes meant missing as many as two touchdowns by Kansas City Chiefs. 

Mini Aussies with mini legs find their world reduced more than significantly.

Long-legged dogs like to play in deep snow.

We have not yet told Liam that the "SQUIRRELS" have probably hunkered down somewhere rather than the front yard. 

Liam has shifted, in a matter of days, to his favorite new sport.  

From ice licking to squirrel chasing and tree leaping. 

The gate to our barnyard needs to be much higher off the ground.

A transportation route for horses from barnyard to barn needs to be a freeway with passing lanes rather than a deep, skinny canyon carved from deep snow. 

It's called horse rage when they line up, rear end and pile up into each other.  

The human in the front of this domino effect wants to stay alive. 

Second day of homemade chicken noodle soup tasted even better than the day before. 

We at the Lovestead are thankful our power stayed on, especially during the Green Bay-Seattle game. 

Others were not so lucky.

All that snow in the morning darkness promises to be beautiful but back-breaking as daylight comes on.

All schools in Bonner County are closed today. 

Spokane radio station sez winds and three more inches of snow in Spokane today.  

That probably means six more inches in North Idaho. 

Maybe they are wrong. 

We have an ample supply with not more room to store it.

Still, it's pretty, especially if you're in Florida admiring it on Facebook!
